We’ve all been there: the terrible sunburn. In a perfect world, we’d prevent every sunburn from happening, but sometimes it catches us by surprise. Professionals say the best way to avoid a burn is to stay out of the sun until about 4:30pm. That’s nice and all, but it’s not conducive to most summer plans. If you must be outside during peak hours, make sure you find plenty of shade and use sunscreen appropriate for your skin type. Even with preventative action, the sun can get you if you’re in it too long.
